Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

The main European stock indices are falling in the course of trading on Tuesday, losing an average of -0.40% of positions, thereby supporting European currencies. See Quotations.

Oil prices during the European session regained some of the lost positions during the Asian trades, but still remain below zero marks, losing on average about -0.55% of the quotations. Some recovery in oil prices, as well as the maintenance of a global upward trend, helps strengthen commodity currencies against the US dollar. For more information, see Oil (current news).
