Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

The main European stock indices are moving in the red zone. The British FTSE lost all previously gained positions at the beginning of trades and at the moment is moving with a minus -0.05%, thereby supporting the British currency. DAX and CAC 40 on average lost about -0.60% of positions, thereby supporting the single currency against the US dollar. See “Quotations“

This state of the stock market is associated with the redistribution of capital between the currency and stock markets. The catalyst for such actions of investors was the decision of the Bank of Japan to reduce incentive measures, against which the chances of such actions from other Central Boards of developed economies are growing.

Oil prices remain positive, with an average adding + 0.60% to the quotations, thereby providing additional support to commodity currencies. For more information, see “Oil (current news)“
