On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, attention should be paid to the preliminary data on the US GDP. Quarterly percentage dynamics of GDP shows the growth rate of the economy as a whole. Consumption today is the largest component of the US GDP and has the greatest impact on it.

According to the forecast, GDP growth in the fourth quarter will remain at the level of 2.6%. The GDP deflator in the fourth quarter will be 2.1%, which is lower than the previous value at the level of 2.4%. In case of data release within the forecast, the US dollar will be under some pressure, against which one should expect the US dollar to fall within 30 points.
