US reporting calandar for a week!
Dear traders,
The following economic data on the US economy will be published this week :
- on Monday – a report on business activity in the manufacturing sector from ISM,
- on Tuesday – a report on the total cars sales in the US,
- and on Thursday – the index of business activity in the US services sector.
- Report on non-farm employment for June, the US Department of Labor will publish at 15:30 on Friday. The focus of this report wouldn’t be the indicators of employment, but the salaries growth.
According to the consensus forecast, jobs are expected to increase by 195 thousand after an increase of 223 thousand in May. It is also expected that the unemployment rate in the US will remain at 3.8%, unchanged from the May value, when it fixed a minimum of 18 years.
However, the focus of investors will be on the average hourly wage in the US. According to forecasts, it will increase by 0.3% after a similar growth a month earlier.
On an annualized basis, wage growth, according to forecasts, will be 2.8%, accelerating compared to May, when wage growth was 2.7%. (Investing.com)
