The British pound strengthens positions

The British pound rose sharply against the US dollar because of the stronger preliminary data on UK GDP than expected. According to published data, UK GDP growth in the third quarter was 0.4%, exceeding the previous value of 0.3%. On an annualized basis, the growth rate was 1.5%, which exceeds the previous value of 1.5%.

Technical Analysis: Based on the positive statistics on UK GDP, the pair GBP/USD rose by more than 35 points. One should consider the main support levels in the region of 1.3110-1.3086; the resistance levels in the region of 1.3200-1.3225.
