The ECB will keep the interest rate at a record low as a result of its meeting according to all forecasts. The ECB’s decision will be announced at 14:45 pm.
ECB President Mario Draghi will hold a press conference 45 minutes after the announcement of the ECB’s decision. Investors seek further clues on when the central bank plans to start hiking borrowing costs.
The ECB has previously pledged to end its bond-buying program by year-end, while keeping interest rates at current levels well into 2019. (Investing.com)
