FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
This week, the market expects the publication of the meeting minutes of the RBA, the Fed and the ECB. In addition, the economic calendar will be filled with an employment data in the UK and Australia, Germany’s GDP and inflation in the eurozone.
- The opening of the week will be very restrained on the news, and market activity will be low due to the weekend in the US and Canada.
- Growth of activity and significant news should be expected on Tuesday. On this day, the Reserve Bank of Australia meeting minutes and the employment report in the UK will be released.
- On Wednesday, the main event of the day will be the publication of the US Federal Reserve protocol.
- On Thursday, the economic calendar will reach a peak of saturation. On this day, it is worth highlighting an employment data in Australia, business activity in the euro area, ECB protocol and data for the USA: durable goods orders and real estate sales.
- On Friday, all market attention will be focused on data for the euro area: German GDP and inflation in the euro area.
The corporate reporting calendar is full of reports, but they will have a moderate impact on the market.
Fundamental risk factors remain the US-China trade talks, which will take place this week in Washington. At the same time, the market and the negotiators seem to be very optimistic about the results. (Anton Hanzenko)
