EUR/USD today: the pair maintains an uptrend

Trades on Monday opened with the negative sentiments for the American, which allowed the pair EUR/USD to update Friday’s high at the level of 1.1970. At the same time, trading remains very restrained and ambiguous, which can cause a moderate correction against Friday.

The day is empty today in terms of statistics, but it is full of speeches by representatives of the ECB and the FOMC, which can cause the volatility to rise in calm trading.

In this situation, from the pair EUR/USD one should expect correction to support levels: 1.1930 and 1.1900, with further growth to 1.2000 and 1.2030. The overall dynamics of the pair remains ascending, but the overbought of the euro is likely to limit the growth. Therefore, at a decrease, it is worth considering deal for purchase, ideally from support levels.
