The US dollar strengthens its pressure on the main competitors against the positive background about the data on prices for imports and exports. According to published data, the export price index rose by 0.8% in September, exceeding the August’s figure of 0.7%, while analysts had expected growth at 0.4%.

The import price index rose by 0.7% in September, exceeding the previous value of 0.6%. The growth of these indicators is a positive signal for the acceleration of inflation, which will have a positive impact on the decision of the FED on tightening monetary policy.
