The US dollar continues to exert pressure

The US dollar continues to put pressure on its main competitors, despite a stronger increase in applications for unemployment benefits than expected.

• According to published data, the number of applications for unemployment benefits amounted to 242 thousand, against the previous value of 218 thousand.

In turn, the growth of the US dollar can be restrained in anticipation of key data on employment in the United States.

The US dollar index, during today’s trading, updated the maximum of the month to around 90.45 and continues to maintain a positive attitude.
