Bitcoin is losing ground again. Ripple updates historical maximum

Bitcoin’s price declines in the course of Thursday’s trades due to the growing demand for alternative crypto-currencies. Yesterday, there was a report on the prohibition of Bitcoin’s trade in Egypt. In turn, a stronger decrease in Bitcoin’s price is kept by the message that venture investor Peter Thiel has invested in bitcoin from $ 15 million to $ 20 million in mid-2017.

It is worth noting that in June 2017 Bitcoin’s price was about $ 2,500.00, so it’s possible that Thiel and other investors have already made significant profits from their investments, so in the middle of December Bitcoin’s price went down.

Technical analysis: At the moment the price of the crypto currency is still above the downlink resistance line on H1, approaching the significant support level at $ 14,000.00. In case of overcoming it, one should expect further price reduction to $ 13,000.00; $ 12,000.00
