Analysis of the American Trading Session

Trades on the American session of Thursday were low-active due to the weekend in the USA because of the celebration of Thanksgiving Day. Therefore, the main activity of the market focused on the European session. The decline in market activity put additional pressure on the US dollar, prompting a reduction in positions in this currency. But against the background of low activity, stock markets also turned out to be under pressure, which limited the demand for risky assets.

The main event on Thursday was the information on Brexit. As a result, the British pound updated daily highs against competitors, but was also further limited to maintaining risks and low activity.

The US dollar index closed trading on Thursday with a decline and updating the low at 96.30, which confirmed keeping the dynamics to decline, but is limited to support at 96.20 and 96.00.
