Analysis of the American Trading Session

The American trading session was closed by the decline of the US dollar, which was caused by weak data on inflation in the US. As a result, the dollar remained under pressure, which persisted in the Asia-Pacific session.

The US stock indices, by contrast, were supported by the weakness of the dollar and the continued optimism from the European session.
