Analysis of the American trading session

During the American session on Monday, December 11, 2017, the US dollar was trading in a mixed way against a basket of currencies, and completed the session with some growth against most competitors. In general, this dynamics of the US dollar was due to the absence of a significant catalyst in the course of trading, as well as against the background of the correction of positions in the market on the eve of the Fed meeting.

The British pound held an American session under pressure against the US dollar, which was caused by a statement made by British Prime Minister Theresa May. May said that unless a trade agreement was reached, Britain would not pay the EU a stipulated amount of 39 billion pounds.
