Analysis of the American session

The American session on Wednesday closed with a moderate growth of the US dollar against a basket of competitors. Earlier, the American currency was under the pressure on the risks of exacerbation of trade tension, criticism of the Fed by D. Trump and the growth of negative sentiment. As a result, the US dollar index updated a low at 97.30.

The movement of the US dollar index in the side channel from 97.30-20 to 97.80-90 indicates the uncertainty of the market and the lack of a single direction. That in the conditions of maintaining the July uptrend may indicate the potential for the resumption of growth.
