The US dollar remains under pressure

The US dollar remains under pressure against the basket of currencies, despite positive statistics on the US.

In October, sales in the secondary housing market in the US rose to 5.48M, against the previous value of 5.37M. As a percentage, the growth was 2.0%, exceeding the previous value of 0.4%.

The main pressure on the US dollar is caused by doubt on the implementation of the tax reform in the United States.

The US dollar index lost all previously gained positions and retains a downside potential in the course of US trading.
