Data on retail sales in the US for April seemed very weak, not meeting expectations. But despite this, the American received support, which was caused by the revision of the previous values ​​of March, which turned out to be much better. As a result, fears of a decrease in consumer price growth in the US declined. In this case, the generalized data remain very restrained.

The US dollar index continues to be traded with the strengthening, caused by the growth of the yield of the US bonds, which also went up on the resumption of optimism in the US. The index managed to recover significantly, giving all the prerequisites for the resumption of the uptrend. But the overbought of the US dollar and the main driver of growth of 10-year-old state bonds will not allow to demonstrate further growth without technical correction.
