EUR/USD today: the euro declines under a pressure of correction

At the beginning of the European session, the euro was under pressure of correction across the market spectrum, which, in turn, also caused a correction for the US dollar. At the same time, negative sentiment remains on the market, which has supported the assets of the safe harbor and especially the yen.

Events for today:

• 17:30 –  data on oil inventories in the US.

After growing uncertainty about the trade confrontation between the US and China stock exchanges and general moods remain the main drivers of the market.

The pair EUR/USD is trading in an upward correction trend against the decline at the beginning of the month, limited to support levels: 1.1580 and 1.1550. Fixing below 1.1600 will call into question the safety of the uptrend. The resistance levels are the marks: 1.1640-50 and 1.1670-80.
