Analysis of the American session
The US trading session on Tuesday closed with a restrained decline in the US dollar against a basket of major competitors. The reason for the restrained weakness of the American dollar was the preservation of the risks of the US and Chinese trade war and the next attacks of the US President D. Trump on the Fed and the eurozone. Trump, in his characteristic manner, was critical of the US Federal Reserve and the Eurozone, which he accused of undervaluing the euro. Such a statement was perceived by the market with restraint, but it contributed to increased fears of closing trades on Tuesday. The US currency is also under pressure against Trump’s criticism of a strong dollar and a decline in the US government bonds yield.
