State of the market: investors are waiting for the beginning of the G7 meeting

Trading on Friday opened with negative dynamics of stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region after restraining negative signals from Wall Street. The reason for the fears growth and the flight of investors from the risk was the expectation of the start of the G7 meeting in Canada today.

Before the G7 meeting, information was received that US President D. Trump would shorten the time at the summit, which is attributed to the trade confrontation between the United States and the response from Canada and France.

Against the backdrop of low-key trading on Friday and the negative dynamics of stock indices, the market has a very low-key dynamics. Even the decline in Japan’s GDP and China’s trade balance were taken quite cool on the market’s restraint and waiting for the G7 meeting.

The US dollar index, against a background of reduced activity, also remains at the level of the day near the monthly lows, limited to support levels: 93.40 and 93.20, but maintaining the potential for decline.
