The US quarterly reporting season is nearing completion!

This week, its quarterly reports will be published by about 40 companies covered by the S & P 500 index. This will be the last big wave of quarterly reports of the US companies for the first quarter.

On Tuesday, quarterly reports will be published by Disney (NYSE: DIS), Marriott (NASDAQ: MAR), Valeant Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: VRX), Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA), Wendy’s (NASDAQ: WEN), Dean Foods (NYSE: DF) , Etsy (NASDAQ: ETSY), Jd.Com (NASDAQ: JD) and Microchip Technology (NASDAQ: MCHP).
The attention of the markets on Wednesday will be attracted by the quarterly reports of Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN), Roku (NASDAQ: ROKU), Weibo (NASDAQ: WB), SINA (NASDAQ: SINA), Office Depot (NASDAQ: ODP) and Anheuser Busch Inbev (NYSE: BUD )
On Thursday, NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), News Corp (NASDAQ: NWSA), Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC), Dropbox (NASDAQ: DBX) and Yelp (NYSE: YELP).
And, finally, on Friday, the report will be released by Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI).
On Friday, the US stock markets rose against the background of a rise in price of Apple shares (NASDAQ: AAPL) to a historic high, which drove up the technology companies sector.
However, positive data on Friday was not enough to compensate the decline in the Dow and S&P 500 indices, which during the week fell by 0.2% each. (Investing.com)
