ALREADY In AN HOUR: the UK Business Activity Index!

In an hour, at 11:30 (Kiyv), there will be a report on activity in the manufacturing sector in the UK for April, on Wednesday – a report on business activity in construction, and on Thursday – a report on business activity in the services sector.
According to forecasts, the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of the UK will drop to 54.9 after a value of 55.1 last month, the index of business activity in the construction sector of the UK will slightly increase to 50.9 after 47.0, and the index of business activity in the UK’s leading services sector will remain better to 53.3 after a value of 51.7 last month.
The report released on Friday showed that in the first quarter of 2018, the growth rate of the British economy slowed to a minimum from the fourth quarter of 2012. This forced investors to lower their interest rates on raising the interest rate by the Bank of England next month. (Investing.com)
