Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

The main European stock indices are declining during the trading on Wednesday. The British FTSE 100 shows a decline of -0.30%, which is not enough to provide adequate support to the pound against the US dollar. DAX and CAC 40 on average fell by -0.95%, against which the single currency is holding its positions against the US dollar. See Quotations.

Oil prices continue to move near zero with a maximum deviation of 0.20%, against which the commodity currencies receive adequate support and continue trading under pressure against the US dollar. For more information, see Oil (current news).
