Market Focus

Friday, June 8, 2013,  is full of statistics for Japan, Britain and Canada.

At the start of the day, the market focus will be on Japan’s GDP data, which, after a prolonged sale of the yen, may lead to correction, especially given the optimistic forecasts for Japan’s GDP.

By the middle of the day, market attention will shift to industrial production in the UK, which plays a largely statistical role. But, against the backdrop of Friday’s correction, the data can act as a significant driver to the pound movement.

At the end of the day, the market will expect data on employment in Canada, expectations of which remain modest.
