Market Focus

On Friday, May 25, 2018, the week will be closed with the large amount of news that has been traced in recent days.

In the first half of the day, the market will be focused on inflation in Japan, business activity in Germany and preliminary data in the UK. The expectations for Japan and the UK are modest, but regarding Germany there will be a small increase in activity, which in the end can provide a support for correction for the euro after almost a week’s decline.

The second half of the day promises to be full of speeches by representatives of the world’s CBs: Australia, Britain, the US and Germany, which can cause increased volatility in the market. Also, in the afternoon, orders for durable goods in the US will come out, expectations for which are very optimistic.
