On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the economic calendar is full of events, the main event of the day and week will be the publication of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision. At the start of the day, the market expects data on New Zealand’s trade balance, expectations regarding which remain very low-key. The European trading session will be almost empty.

Closer to the end of the day, the market will shift to the US data, namely, real estate and oil inventories in the US. The main event of the day will be the publication of the US Federal Reserve Protocol and the next Fed press conference, which is expected to raise the interest rate to 2.25% and hints at another rate hike this year.
