Market focus

On Tuesday, 31.07.2018 the economic calendar will be saturated with statistics for many countries, among which special attention deserve: data on business activity in China, which can set the mood in stock markets for the whole day. Employment data in Germany and preliminary statistics on inflation and eurozone GDP will have a significant impact on the euro, as they will assess most of the euro area economy. Also, preliminary, during the day  the results of the meeting of the Bank of Japan will be published.

In the second half of the day, market attention will shift to Canada’s GDP and the US statistics unit. Canada’s GDP remains the key data, which is also supported by positive expectations.

In addition to the planned news, the issue of trade confrontation remains open and will also have an impact on the market. Do not forget about the correction of positions before the upcoming data on the US, which will come out during the week.
