Today, at 11:30 (Kiev) – the publication of the report by the Office for National Statistical of Great Britain (ONS) on the volume of production in the manufacturing industry for September. The British Pound is in focus!
It is expected that this value will be increased by 0.3%. It is assumed that the volume of industrial production will be increased by 0.3%.
Last week, the Bank of England raised interest rates for the first time in the last ten years, but said it plans only a gradual increase in its further growth, while the UK is preparing to withdraw from the EU.

“Industrial production measures the change in overall production in the UK. This is a good indicator of strength in the industrial sector. The manufacturing industry accounts for about 80% of total industrial production.
According to the forecast, production in the manufacturing industry grew by 0.3% in September, against the August value of 0.4%. The release of data within the forecast will put some pressure on the British currency. So, one should expect the decrease of the pound against the US dollar within 30 points.”
