Market focus

On Friday, August 2, the saturation of the economic calendar will decline at the end of the week.

At the start of the day, attention should be paid to the meeting  minutes of the Bank of Japan and retail sales in Australia, which will have a restrained effect on national currencies. The European trading session will be low-key on the news. It is worth to highlight data on inflation in Switzerland, activity in the UK construction sector and retail sales in the eurozone.

At the American trading session the US employment report will be published, which will be the main event of the day. Despite the restrained negative expectations for the US employment in July, confirmation of labor market forecasts will support the US currency.
