The US dollar remains positive mood

The US dollar slightly slowed its growth against the basket of currencies, after the data on consumer optimism fell below forecasts.

• According to published preliminary data, the consumer sentiment index from the University of Michigan in March was 102.00, which is lower than the forecast at 102.4.
• The consumer expectations index from the University of Michigan fell to the level of 88.6, against the forecast of growth to the level of 90.6.
• In turn, the number of open vacancies in the labor market in January amounted to 6.312 million, exceeding the December value of 5.667 million.

Against the background of this statistics, the US dollar index remains near the current high and still maintains a positive attitude.
