Today, at 15:30 (Kiev), the US Department of Commerce will publish a report on the volume of construction of new houses and the number of building permits in December.
It is predicted that over the past month the number of permits for housing construction will decrease by 1.0% to 1.29 million homes, and the volume of construction of new houses will drop by 1.7% to 1.275 million homes. In November, both these indicators reached their maximums in more than a decade.
The leading analyst of Ester A.Sivtsov writes:
“If the data is released within the forecast and above, the US dollar will be under some pressure. If the value deviates by about 10%, one should expect the American to move within 30-40 points against competitors.”
