On Monday, December 17, the day is full of inflation data in the eurozone, which will be the main event of the day.

• At 12:00 – an inflation report in the Eurozone will be published: core consumer price index (CPI) (y/y) (November), consumer price index (CPI) (m/m) (November) and the trade balance (oct).
• At 13:00 – CBI industrial trends orders (December) in the UK.
• At 15:30 – NY Empire State manufacturing index (December) USA.
• Also at 15:30 – foreign securities purchases in Canada (October).
• At 23:00 – TIC Net long-term transactions (October) in the USA.

On Tuesday, December 18, market attention will be focused on the RBA meeting results, the business climate in Germany and construction in the USA.

• At 02:30 – RBA meeting results will be published: economic and budget forecast for the middle of the year and monetary policy meeting minutes.
• At 11:00 – data on Germany will be released: Germany’s business expectations index, assessment of the current situation in Germany and the IFO business climate index in Germany.
• At 15:30 – US construction data will be released: building permits (November), building permits (m/m) (November) and housing starts (m/m) (November).
• Also at 15:30 – manufacturing sales (m/m) (October) of Canada.
• At 23:30 – API weekly stocks of crude oil in the United States.
• At 23:45 – current account (q/q) (Q3) of New Zealand.

On Wednesday, December 19, the day is saturated with inflation data in the UK and Canada, but the market will focus on the results of the US Federal Reserve meeting.

• At 01:50 – data on the trade balance of Japan.
• At 09:00 – German producer price index (PPI) (m/m) (November).
• At 11:30 – an inflation report in the UK.
• At 15:30 – an inflation data in Canada.
• At 17:00 – existing home sales in the US.
• At 17:30 – crude oil inventories in the United States.
• At 21:00 – the results of the Fed meeting will be announced: FOMC economic forecasts, FOMC statement and Fed interest rate decision.
• At 21:30 – FOMC press conference will be held.
• At 23:45 – New Zealand GDP (q/q) will be published.

On Thursday, December 20, attention will shift to the results of meetings of the Central Banks of Japan and the United Kingdom.

• At 02:30 – an employment data in Australia.
• At 08:30 – a press conference of the Bank of Japan will be held.
• At 11:30 – the UK data will be released: core retail sales (m/m) (November) and retail sales (m/m) (November).
• At 14:00 – the results of the Bank of England meeting will be published: the total amount of the Bank of England QE program (December) and interest rate decision (December).
• At 15:30 – the US data will be released: initial jobless claims, Philadelphia Fed manufacturing index (December).
• Also at 15:30 – wholesale sales (m/m) (October) in Canada.

On Friday, December 21, the day is saturated with data on the GDP of the UK, USA and Canada.

• At 01:30 – an inflation data in Japan will be released: national core consumer price index (CPI) (y/y) (November) and the national CPI (m/m).
• At 11:30 – the UK will publish data: business investment (q/q) (Q3), current account balance (Q3) and GDP (q/q).
• At 15:30 – the US GDP data will be released: nondefense capital goods shipments (excluding aircraft) (m/m), durable goods orders (m/m) (November), GDP (q/q) (Q3) and GDP deflator (q/q) (Q3).
• Also at 15:30 – core retail sales index (m/m) (oct), GDP (m/m) (oct) and retail sales (m/m) (oct) will be published.
• At 17:00 – the US data will be released: core price index for personal consumption expenditures (m/m) (November), Michigan consumer expectations index (December) and individuals’ expenses (m/m) (November).
• At 20:00 – number of Baker Hughes oil rigs in the United States will be announced.
