Analysis of the past day

On Monday, May 28, the US dollar index showed multidirectional dynamics throughout the day, but closes the day near the annual maximum. The reason for such an ambiguous dynamics was the data on the eurozone, or rather, Italy, where political risks remain. Against the background of political instability, the weakening of the euro became the main driver for strengthening of the American.

Stock indices throughout the day also traded in different directions, remaining influenced by market sentiment (Nikkei 225 +0.11, DAX-0.44, FTSE 100 —, Dow 30 —). Oil opened a new week with a decline in maintaining concerns about an increase in world oil production. But because of the relatively low activity remained near the minimum of the opening of the day.

The US dollar index managed to update the maximum of the year at around 94.50, followed by a correction. This movement indicates the uptrend and the possibility of strengthening of the American.
