Analysis of the past day

At the start of the week it was a movement against the market on Friday, as a result of which the American currency weakened against its main competitors. The reason for the  US dollar decline was the restrained growth of optimism in the market, which resumed sales of the dollar, and weak statistics on sales in the US.

Stock exchanges at the end of the day are traded in different directions, despite the growth of optimism in the European session (Nikkei 225 -1.87 DAX + 0.60 FTSE 100 +0.40; Dow 30 +0.05). In this case, trading in the American session is likely to close below zero.

The US dollar index at the end of today’s trading returned to Friday’s minimum at 95.00, confirming the downtrend and the possibility of further decline, which is limited by support levels: 95.00 and 94.80-70.
