Analysis of the American session

Trades on the American session on Monday closed with restrained growth of the US dollar on correction after updating the lows. The reason for the correction of the American dollar, in addition to the general restraint of the market, was the absence of significant drivers and low activity.

The Monday US dollar index slowed down the decline, returning to a significant resistance of 97.00. This may indicate attempts of correction and resumption of growth to resistance levels of 97.10-20. Significant support is located at levels: 96.80 and 96.70.
