State of the Market: stock markets slow down

On Wednesday, stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region remain under slight pressure amid a general decline in world stock indices and the flight of investors from risks. At the same time, the negative sentiment on the market is almost gone, which is due to the positive closing of quotes on Wall Street.

In the foreign exchange market, the situation is mixed, because of the positive closing of the indices in the American session. There is a slowdown in the sale of risky assets. Despite this, the Japanese yen and other assets of the safe haven continue to be in demand, which indicates that the fears remain on the market and may turn out in the negative sentiment.

The American currency since the beginning of the day is under pressure of correction after growth. At the same time, the US dollar index formed a reversal formation, which may indicate a more significant correction against the main basket of world currencies. On the other hand, the American receives support from the growth of the yield of the US government bonds, which also acts as a positive factor against the general flight of investors from risks.
