Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

Today, in connection with the celebration of “Labor Day” the main stock markets of the euro area are closed, against which the strong pressure on the single currency is exerted by the strong position of the US dollar. British FTSE 100 in today’s trading strengthened by 1.55%, thereby exerting additional pressure on the pound. See Quotations.
