Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil.

The main European stock indices are declining during the trading on Wednesday. The British FTSE 100 regained almost all the lost positions from the opening of trading, after falling more than -1%, putting pressure on the British pound. DAX and CAC 40 at the moment decreased by -0.80% on average, which allows the single currency to hold its positions against the US dollar. See Quotations.

Oil prices move in the red zone, losing an average of -0.75% of positions. This puts some pressure on commodity currencies in anticipation of data on oil and petroleum products in the US. See Oil (current news).
