Market focus

On Thursday, 20.06.2019, the economic calendar is full of news. At the start of the day, market attention will be focused on New Zealand’s GDP data, the speech of the RBA Governor and  interest rates decision in Japan, this news will have a significant impact on national currencies.

In the European trading session, all market attention will move to the UK data. First, the focus will be on data on retail sales in the UK, from which they expect a noticeable slowdown, and after that on the Bank of England meeting results, expectations of which remain quite restrained. At the same time, the UK statistics remain key and will influence the market through cross rates.

In the American session,  data on inintial jobless claims and activity in the US manufacturing sector are worth highlighting.
