The US dollar continues to decline
The US dollar fell sharply against the major market currencies at the beginning of the European session. This decline in the American can be attributed to the expectation of weak news on retail sales and inflation in the US. See “Calendar“
It is worth recalling that the publication of yesterday’s data on producer prices in the US also exerted pressure on the US currency, as the data turned out to be lower than it was forecasted. See “Analysis of the American Trading Session.“
The US dollar index continues to decline in the course of trading on Friday, closely approaching the minimum mark of 2017, 90.99.
