The US dollar maintains its current position against the basket of currencies after the publication of data from the ISM.

• The index of business activity in the non-manufacturing sector in February was 59.5, which is lower than the previous value at the level of 59.9.
• The index of employment in the non-manufacturing sector (ISM) fell to 55.0, against the previous value of 61.6.

Against the backdrop of this statistics, the US dollar index continues to move in the flat range during today’s trading, while market participants are waiting for a clearer reaction from the main US trading partners, after on Thursday Donald Trump announced an increase in duties on imports of steel and aluminum.
