State of the market: the dollar strengthened at the start of the day

With the opening of trading on Monday, the US dollar is showing restrained strengthening against safe assets that remain under pressure across the market. There are no obvious reasons for selling safe assets, especially against the background of the negative dynamics of stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region, which have been reduced on the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebration.

The US dollar index accelerated the growth against a basket of competitors at the opening of the trading week, moving to a correction against the decline that was observed last week. Significant resistance are: 95.80 and 96.00, support are: 95.60-50 and 95.30.
