On the very restrained trading on Monday, Europe’s main stock indexes remain trading near the opening of the day, which is caused by the absence of significant news and the persistence of some uncertainty in the euro area over Catalonia and Brexit. As a result, the euro remains trading lower against its main competitors.

Political risks in the eurozone also affect the stock indices of Europe, which are trading slightly higher than the opening of the day. At the beginning of the day, optimism on European venues was more pronounced. Negative factor for the growth of the stock markets of the eurozone was the weak statistics on the trade balance of the eurozone and the already voiced political risks in Europe. The opening of American sites, from which a positive dynamics against the background of rising oil prices is expected may introduce volatility in the auctions. But there are also certain geopolitical risks in the US caused by the launch of joint military exercises of the United States and South Korea near the coast of the DPRK.
