Also, the stock indices were supported by data on China’s trade balance, which rose significantly in December.

The US currency remains under pressure against major competitors, which is caused by the continued optimism of the euro and weak data on production in the US. As a result, the US dollar index remains near the annual lows, limited to the support level of 91.50-40. And expecting data on inflation in the US, which can cause the market to exit the consolidation phase.
