State of the MArket: American slowed growth

On Thursday, the US dollar index is traded with a slight decline of correction after yesterday’s growth. Reduction of fears in the market, caused by a collapse of stock indices, caused correction of positions relative to risky assets.

From the beginning of the day, the Japanese yen is under pressure throughout the entire spectrum of the market. An additional negative factor for the yen was also weak data on the balance of current operations for December. As a result, the yen retreated from the local highs and went into the correction phase.

In the context of a restrained positive dynamics of stock indices, the US dollar index is traded in a sideways trend. The optimism about the stock indices and a significant overbought of the American after yesterday’s growth could cause a correction against the US dollar.
