Season of financial statements of US companies for the second quarter is gaining momentum

About 60 US companies covered by the S & P 500 index, including seven companies covered by the Dow index will present their reports this week on Wall Street. This is the first week of more US companies reports for the second quarter.
On Monday, Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) and BlackRock (NYSE: BLK), as well as Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX), will submit their financial reports.
On Tuesday, quarterly reports will be published by Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) and UnitedHealth (NYSE: UNH).
On Wednesday, Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), American Express (NYSE: AXP) and IBM (NYSE: IBM) reports will be released.
On Thursday, reports are planned for Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) and Blackstone (NYSE: BX).
The week will be ended with Friday reports of companies General Electric (NYSE: GE) and Honeywell (NYSE: HON).
Analysts predict another quarter of good performance of US companies. According to Thomson Reuters, the income of US companies for the second quarter will grow by 20.7%. However, the quarterly reporting season of US companies is overshadowed by tensions in trade relations with China and its impact on corporate earnings. Analysts are going to analyze carefully the company’s forecasts to check whether Trump’s trade policy has affected the volume of investments, purchase prices and profitability indicators.
