FOCUS OF THE DAY: Decision of the Bank of Japan!

According to analysts’ forecasts, on Friday the Bank of Japan will maintain the current monetary policy as a result of its two-day meeting, including interest rate at the level of -0.1%.
After the announcement of the decision on the interest rate, the Governor of Japan Haruhiko Kuroda will hold a press conference.
Kuroda said earlier that the central bank of Japan will inform the markets about plans to curtail its ultra-soft monetary policy, when the target value of inflation will become stable.
Recently, there have been several signals indicating that, due to the growing cost of the financial incentive program, the central bank of Japan is preparing to curtail its quantitative easing program.
Consumer prices rise slightly more slowly than officials of the central bank of Japan hoped. Japanese companies are deterred from rising prices and salaries for employees. (Investing.com)
