Preliminary report on the US GDP. DO NOT MISS!

Today, at 15:30 (Kiev) – Publication of the preliminary value of economic growth for the third quarter.
According to the forecasts, the report will show that the US economic growth will slow down to 2.6% on annualised basis with a decline in retail sales, industrial production, construction and sales of homes due to “Harvey” and “Irma”.
According to the forecast from Investing.com, the futures on the federal funds rate gives a probability of approximately 90% for the interest rate increase in December of this year. The US Central Bank has already raised interest rates this year.
Investors will also continue to monitor the latest news from New York regarding the tax reform proposed by the Trump administration.
In the stock market, investors will evaluate the numerous reports of US companies for the third quarter. By now, more than one third of the companies covered by the S & P 500 index and 13 companies covered by the Dow index have submitted their reports.
Next week, the most attention will be attracted by the reports of technological companies from the “big four” FANG: Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL). Investors will also be interested in reports from Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Twitter (NYSE: TWTR), McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD), Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT), General Motors (NYSE: GM) and Ford (NYSE) : F).
