Expectations for the upcoming week
After the meeting of the US Central Banks and the CB of euro area, the market turned out to be largely overbought by the American dollar, which will force investors to reconsider their positions on the US dollar and the euro. Therefore, the upcoming week may turn out to be very volatile and ambiguous in terms of trade.
In the coming week there will also be a significant number of speeches by representatives of the world’s Central Banks. Particularly noteworthy are the results of the meeting of the Central Bank of Switzerland and the UK, which will be held on Thursday. At the same time, fears of toughening the process of Britain’s withdrawal from the EU have increased markedly, amid political instability in Britain, which could provoke a wave of British pound sales on the week.
Also this week, OPEC will meet on June 20-22, which the oil market is waiting for more than a month. At this meeting, according to market expectations, will discuss quotas for oil production in order to reduce the supply deficit. But also the oil market expects details regarding rates and volumes, having already laid in the cost of oil an increase in oil production.
