IFO Institute Report on Business Confidence in Germany
Dear traders,
Today, at 11:00 on Tuesday, the IFO research institute will report on business confidence in Germany. Market players predict that in December the value of this index will grow to 117.6, which will become its historical maximum.
The business climate index is determined on the basis of a survey of approximately 7,000 German companies in the manufacturing and construction sectors, as well as in the wholesale and retail sales sectors.
Last week, the ECB kept the interest rate unchanged and reiterated its intention to continue financial stimulation for as long as required, since inflation will remain below the target level until 2020.
